I hope you got your answer by now lol :D But if someone ever wonders, it's because the ticks match perfectly when you call servant while you have six planks left in inventory. If you do efficient enough you get the six planks used just in time your butler comes back and so you save time basically and more xp/h.

how come the butler doesnt leave your side when already has given you all the planks? mine just walks away
Seems to me like he only moves if you finish his dialogue naturally. If you just start building to exit the dialogue, he doesn't move.

To avoid the common mistake of running out of inv space, bring an item you can equip instead of house tabs:)
